Designed as a low-cost no-hardware solution, the hosted solution is a hosted web service. This means that the Oscar software and database run on our dedicated servers, and that we manage the service for you.
Crucially, however, we supply you with the Oscar Back Office software module to run on your own PC at work or at home, giving you complete control over the design of seating plans, ticket pricing and performance dates and times. You can also run reports and monitor sales in real time. Click to view some screen shots.
Once you have installed Oscar Back Office and connected to your dedicated database, you can schedule performances and set ticket prices. As soon as you open a given performance for internet sale, your customers can purchase tickets using a dedicated web site that we create for you along with your database.
As part of the service, we process Credit Card transactions for online ticket purchases on your behalf.
