The Oscar software will run on most standard Microsoft Windows PCs, subject to sufficient memory, licences and compatibilty. If your business already has such machines, it is likely that these can be used to run the Oscar Back Office software.

Whilst existing hardware might well be suitable for running the Oscar Back Office software, in the interests of reliability we strongly recommend that Point of Sale hardware is replaced (unless it very closely matches our standard hardware).

Put simply, we will endeavour to find the most cost-effective and reliable solution, re-using existing hardware where that makes sense, and supplying and installing new hardware where it does not.
