Web Hosted SolutionThe Web Hosted Solution is designed as a halfway house between the Complete IT Solution and the Hosted Solution because it allows the venue to offer internet ticket sales (directly from the venue's database, so you don't have to allocate a range of seats) whilst reducing both the hardware requirements and the up-front licence fees for the system.Customers purchase their tickets online via a dedicated web site that we host for you on our servers, which in turn communicates with the Oscar database running at the venue. With this solution, funds are deposited directly into your bank account, and we charge a per-ticket or per-transaction fee instead of an up-front software licence fee for the Oscar Web module. The option to purchase the Oscar Web module is always there, should you decide that it would be more cost-effective to do so. And because there is only one database - the one running at the venue - all historical data is unaffected by such a transition. For more information, please get in touch. |
